Back later folks, off to update my iPad (haven't got my MacBook with me so if it goes tits up I won't be back
), parcel a package to uncle in Canada then off to T's with sis to get some of the Dolmio with the free dishes.

But
If anyone's doing the Xmas boxes for Operation Christmas Child, there's only a week left to hand them in (deadline 18 Nov).
Scrap that, I just found out they put in a load of evangelical literature in with your shoebox  so I'm going to look elsewhere.
Just found this:

lovecrafting wrote: »evening all. i have been sorting out the benefits today, thanks for all the advice i am waiting for it to all come but they agree that backdating is a good plan so they have put three months backdating on the forms. aparently they have to process the carers before the income support and then the housing benefit so it could take some time but at least there is light at the end of the tunnel.
i went into mr t's couldnt find any 4p items i really wanted to but have no idea what i am doing so i spent half an hr randomly scanning stuff until i realised im not actually finding anything. i did manage to get 2 playdough sets for £1.40 each theres loads left on the shelf, i couldnt find the barbie tea sets that i was looking for (if anyone localish to bu**ley knows where there are some please please let me know and i know a 4 year old who will love you forever) i got some reduced sausages for tea so the kids are on sausage butties tonight. they will be impressed.
either i am really bad at looking for stuff or there is absoloutley nothing there.
Oh hun, we need to co-ordinate, I did Bu**ley yesterday. Didnt get the tea sets but did manage the 3 for 2 knives, toy story bed set (duvet , pillow and duvet cover - well this was my friend), family guy socks, harry hill nuts, 1p trays, chuggington sets, erm, posted full list yesterday
Which play dough sets did you get?
Glad everything is getting sorted for you. It annoys me that people like yourself, that the benefits system is there for, dont know about the help you deserve, and yet some people misuse the system and give it such a bad name....so glad your getting sorted xxx0 -
Nikkilala are you all mad in your house lol :rotfl:
Love it !!!!!!!!:T
As for kids doing embarassing things - we took my young cousin to the supermarket a few years back and came across a terrible smellSo my wee cousin shouts out ' someone f a r ted ' - was it you - every1 starts looking round and pulling faces ' like it wasn't me ' - when my wee 7yr old cousin starts smelling every1 bum and points at a 50odd yr old lady and shouts out loud ' It was you , it was you who far ted ':eek::eek: - Needless to say we burst out laughing and didn't hang about !
