Prescott699 wrote: »Just have to thank the people who posted about the TWIN LIGHT STRIKES and the 7-1 BAGUKANS
I read about them being marked up at half price £30(TLS) but scanning at £60 and £20(B) but scanning at £40. I am a mobile worker and regularly pass quite a few Mr Ts within my day..
Started at $t0ckp0rt where curiosity got the better of me which they had both items picked up 2 of each both scanned at full price at £200. Went straight to the CS and got refunded £200 RESULT. I was buzzing from this and couldnt stop thinking if I pass another will try there. Then got a job near B@gley got 2 x Bakagans £80 refunded the Light Strikes had the sticker removed already, then passed a Mr Ts on way home near Wilm$low so popped in there.
Here is where I came face to face with my 1st TROUT... got overcharged with the 2 Light strikes paying £120 (£60 more than the half price offer). The trout advised me that because I went thru a self serve till, it was my fault and they could only offer the difference!!! I argued the case saying I dont input wrong prices into their tills to no avail I even questioned it as I said that while I was in the queue, notice the blue board behind here stating "happily refund double the difference" and was she sure it didnt apply as Mr Ts policy behind her didnt mention anything like that.. She stood her ground and I thought damn been Trouted. So I calmly asked her for the Head office number which she replied smuggly its on the top of the receipt.
Went back to the car park and thought damn but still got a bargin really, but still decided to ring Head Office, told them the story about being humiliated etc and their policies, he said he would ring me back. 1 min later asked me to go back to Customer Services where they would honour the policy and refund me the other £60. Went back the Trout had gone but her collegue was there and she stated they had a call to refund meI stated that maybe FURTHER TRAINING maybe required for the trout due to telling customers FALSE information on the companys policy

Morning all,
My memory lately, something else I forgot to point out, read a post not sure where about Bold Rose and Peony boxes for £1, my store had the SEL last night, I'm off to see if any in stock this morning. Don't forget to look out for them.
Well done nikki on resisting to temptation. How are the big birthday plans coming along?
Hope everyone who was feeling poorly is feeling better today.
And I didn't finish my ironing so might have to go missing in action today. Just hope a good glitch doesn't surface.
It's the 4kg box. There was a £1 sel in 2 of the stores i visited yesterday, but oosi even asked in the second as the delivery cages were out, but none delivered. Might try another store as really wanted some of this for parents and i've yet to find the variety packs at 49p, despite trying 5 different stores:(

I think calling them greedy is harsh. It looks like they bought them with people in mind. It is not like they were buying them to pop on ebay for a proft. However, I do wish people would stop and think before picking up multiples of high priced items as it really does draw attention to them. Just my opinion thoughAvatar courtesey of HC :beer:0 -

Birthday plans are good, Just ordered a cake all in black & white with Pi symbols, algebra, maths symbols all over it, I know he will love it as he's such a maths geek, in a lovely way;)cousinjack wrote: »Right girls and boys, I have coffee, am sat in Tesco, with my phone gonna plough through this lovely thread and then attack! I was in there yesterday morning and they had boxes of the Flash wipes and also there was a stock of those knife sets all which had the 3 for 2 sticker on them and loads of the 49p variety packs0 -
In my local today and as i'm leaving overheard a few managers talking near the door, hovering I hear them say something about DTD and how its getting outta hand, heard a mention of the toy light things I can see someone at cs getting DTD on masses of bottles of coke then hear one manager going mad saying get someone down the meat aisle and get it cleared now!!!
Didn't have time to see what it was but it sounds like something is going down.:A You may be only one person in the world,

I personally don't think it's greedy, They got £400 worth of toys free, which they are going to give as pressies. They had the front to do it so can't see a problem to be honest. Personally DTD's not my thing;) I prefer a good old fashioned glitch but if a DTD's put in front of me I won't say no. And to be honest the reason that this thread usually stays so nice is we try not to judge anyone for what they do, Each to their own;)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
