Just have to thank the people who posted about the TWIN LIGHT STRIKES and the 7-1 BAGUKANS
I read about them being marked up at half price £30(TLS) but scanning at £60 and £20(B) but scanning at £40. I am a mobile worker and regularly pass quite a few Mr Ts within my day..

Started at $t0ckp0rt where curiosity got the better of me which they had both items picked up 2 of each both scanned at full price at £200. Went straight to the CS and got refunded £200 RESULT. I was buzzing from this and couldnt stop thinking if I pass another will try there. Then got a job near B@gley got 2 x Bakagans £80 refunded the Light Strikes had the sticker removed already, then passed a Mr Ts on way home near Wilm$low so popped in there.

Here is where I came face to face with my 1st TROUT... got overcharged with the 2 Light strikes paying £120 (£60 more than the half price offer). The trout advised me that because I went thru a self serve till, it was my fault and they could only offer the difference!!! I argued the case saying I dont input wrong prices into their tills to no avail I even questioned it as I said that while I was in the queue, notice the blue board behind here stating "happily refund double the difference" and was she sure it didnt apply as Mr Ts policy behind her didnt mention anything like that.. She stood her ground and I thought damn been Trouted. So I calmly asked her for the Head office number which she replied smuggly its on the top of the receipt.

Went back to the car park and thought damn but still got a bargin really, but still decided to ring Head Office, told them the story about being humiliated etc and their policies, he said he would ring me back. 1 min later asked me to go back to Customer Services where they would honour the policy and refund me the other £60. Went back the Trout had gone but her collegue was there and she stated they had a call to refund me :) I stated that maybe FURTHER TRAINING maybe required for the trout due to telling customers FALSE information on the companys policy :)

    Mr P = 1 Trout = 0

    £400 toys for FREE

Thanks very much peeps the boys & nephews are going to be happy
    (sorry for the long post)

Good morning everyone. Hope everyone has a better glitch day.
Wasn't around yesterday cos I had to go to a family funeral. :( Thought I was coping ok until they played 'Danny Boy'. Was in bits. :(

Really, really must get my butt in gear and get wrapping DS's pressies cos it's his birthday soon. Did a mini 'stock take' the other day and I'm rather impressed with myself. Got lots of Christmas pressies for my children already - lots of them are as a result of glitches/bargains posted on Grabbit.

So pleased with myself as I'm doing so much better with organising things and sorting finances since husband left. Good riddance to him! :D

Thanks to everyone who contributes to the threads. I love this site! :Txx

there is two but both have been broken for months, there is one in r/stall near the clothes section

Ohhh hello fellow h?lingden shoppers :j

Did H'den and r/stall tesco yesterday, ohhhhh arent h'den good on DTD. I didnt even have to mention it on the lightning strikes lol, bless them (different to Accy!!!)

R/stall, I found nothing, absolutley zilch. I even resorted to scanning a rugby cap to make myself feel better, but that was £1 (wonder if they missed the memo lol)

Shame H'den has no scanners, I just 'felt' the potential in there, but I'm always like a fish out of water in new stores!

Good luck in Accy, I found the trays there and a few other bits (posted in thread). Give me a shout if you find anything. Couple of bits still there include Time for tea teapot (really cute, scans at £2), Ive not done a lot of shoes or womens socks etc. I dont do DTD in there either (Got truely trouted during the toy sale, so keeping low profile for a while :S), so should be some stuff. I did notice that they have peeled the stickers off the lightning strikes and the bakugan things tho, so no DTD there

    Good luck :)

I see on HUKDs (thanks to nicster08) that Ts are doing B1G2F on Kipling mince pies tomorrow. That means 3 boxes for £2.22. Now can anyone tell me how much one box was being sold for last week?

They really are a shower of barstewards with all this price hiking. I don't care if £2.22 for 18 mince pies is a good price, it's the price hikes that take the biscuit. Before I joined this site I couldn't have told you how much stuff cost but because of careful shopping I know that's a 25% price hike for this 'deal'.

It's cheaper and usually nicer to make your own! Especially if you are able to get the reduced price mincemeat and pastry.

You'll have to do better than that to drag me away from Angelina's pyjama party with furry mince special!

Will try harder next time!icon9.gif (Are you a teacher in real life?) Hope the party and furry mince went down a treat.
