No, not all of what we say is Tesco related or even of interest to many others but this is the way this thread has formed

Many of us want to discuss the various deals to be had but this was not appreciated on the main Grabbit forum. As such, we now use this thread to talk about anything from how to cook a baked potato to how to get 1p or 4p items through self-scan as quick as possible. We also discuss ex-husbands, kids and animals. If you have a medical problem we'll nag you until you go to the doctor. If you're not feeling well we'll provide support, a wee hot drink and whatever chocolate is currently glitching to cheer you up.

And finally, yes we know that some people try to obscure the store names but this works both ways. It might make it difficult for those who don't have the time to sit here and natter all day but it also makes it difficult for staff/managers to quickly identify any issues at their store. We do try to post new deals in bold but it depends on the poster if they remember. We don't like arguing so we're not going to take umbridge if one or two deals slip through.

Now sit back, relax and feel free to join in. We don't bite (unless you ask nicely), we will help wherever possible and you don't have to post new deals just to feel like part of the group.

Evening All. This thread is becoming the Forth Bridge of MSE - you can never catch up with it!

Went to Mr T today and got:

2 x Sabatier Knife Sets - priced at £6 and scanned the same but wanted them anyway
Rice Krispies 700g - 92p - sel of 92p, grabbed the last box
Solero - 59p
Tartan Gift Wrap - 25p

Scanned a couple of items but full-price.
Saw the Go Cook Knife set at £25 with 342 stickers. Anyone know if the 342 DOESN'T kick in on these?

One possible to look out for, Shreddies/S.Wheat/Cheerios were B1G1F which ends today. SA told me a new offer was starting on them tomorrow but couldn't tell me what it was, so the chance of a glitch on switchover?

Was hoping to find a Light Strike set or Bakugan set but no such luck. I couldn't even find one of the leaf trays that seem to be at every other Mr T but mine. No Kelloggs variety either. I hate my local.

Also went to Sainsbobs today (got 3 x Comfort Pure for 25p each using coupons) and found out that they now do 'Click & Collect' there and also at my local small Sainsbury shop - so it's worth checking your locals as probably nationwide.

I got DTD on the knife set about a week ago but in other stores its hard to find 3 boxes & ones who aren't bashed to pieces

Please no more shreddies I want to find some of the variety packs which will take me back to my childhood

And i think its just me that they dont like in there.... i admit, since the security guard said all that to me before regaring if my bump was real etc.. i havent really cared what they thought and kinda gone a bit 'wild in the isles' there... but im not actually doing anything wrong..... just looking for glitches... In fact i think this was the 2nd DTD i have had since it opened....... think the lady on CS is just a snotty nosed cow tbh and i know that there have been complaints about her before...... also, noticed that the security guard that mentioned my bump, also works in the other store i visited today....... haha.....

i think i just give off the wrong impression..... sometimes i have been in there, not looking my best, (bad hair day, baby sick on jumper, son with chocolate around their face.) - from the outside, to people, i must sometimes look terrible...!!! - but thats only when im popping in, for baby wipes, TCO, or something else essential. lol.

hi everyone i know this is hardly a 4p item but went to my local tescos today to get the Disney DVDs, which i got but they wouldn't give dtd, anyway i got some garlic chicken Kiev's 2 packs for £3, £1.70 each. when i was checking my receipt 40p had been knocked off twice making them £2.60 for 2 packs. like i said not a massive saving but every little helps
