Morning all:wave:. Off to doctors shortly and wondering whether its worthwhile nipping into the normal Mr t in town (no scanners) or driving the extra couple of miles to the Extra to see any of the 4p bargains have been restocked!! Havent had much luck there apart from some tights for DD. Really want to find some pjs and underwear as a group of locals are organising xmas hampers for the homeless and pensioners and are in need of these, scarves gloves etc so it would be a cheap way of helping out a great cause Mmmmmm just a thought, if Doc is running on time I could do both stores!!! Wow think I need another coffee, brain hasnt engaged yet this morning. Happy hunting today
I'm for the Extra one
I've seen yesterday that there is a homeless centre very close to where I live(I was wondering for a long time what it could be, all the drunk people smoking outside... not judging them of course, one asked me once for a ciggie and I gave him the rest of my pack... but I always wondered how it comes that they can manage to get drunk and have ciggies to smoke-the latter one I know now but do they get beer/wine/vodka donated too...?)
I'm not sure what they do for the homeless, just read on the web that they offer tea, coffee, sandwiches, tv, just sit down and chat thing... I guess they won't turn off donations in form of goodies? I intend to get as many 4p stuff as I can and give it to them nearer xmas... hope the scanners will get fixed soon...
got a big telling off from bf for bringing home 4p short sleaves vest size S!!!I'm sure there are homeless size S chaps and they can use it... just wondering if they will like playboy pants though...
(bf said he won't touch them! he likes the "loose fit" boxers and not the ones that "sqash his bits" but I think they look more s e x y)
I want to find some 4p jeans as I'm sure they would be usefull for them and I might get some of the cheap duvets if there will be some left too... I always feel very sorry for poor homeless people even if they are drunk etc.its like wanting a pee:p when you get the urge you just got to go
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:my wife used to say your not going to the pub are you (only twice a week at most) now she says get off that site (mse) and go for a pint. shes a gem0 -

small size 6! lucky you!
bet you've missed the latest choc glitches!0 -
I have just read on one of the threads (which i now can't find - sorry OP!!) that in some shops the 3for2 banners are still up so could be worth a look for DTD if both don't kick in on the half price gift sets.
Also thanks to "thatguy1" for the heads up on the pilgrims choice cheddar coming back on buy one get 2 free as of tomorrow and there is also still a pilgrims choice voucher that is valid way into the middle of next year which if you used three vouchers on the three blocks would take it down to £3.59 for all three - less than £1.20 a block on vintage mature cheddar.
Once again thanks to "thatguy1" on the buy 1 get 2 free thread xxxxVery proud to be Strip club member No 430 -

Ah, just realised they were in the same post, re-posted for anyone that may have missed it due to my very unsociable hours that i keep:D hthEvening everyone
Just a quick one before I go to bed. I managed to pick up 2 of the light strike things on dtd this eve (thanks to the op who posted). However I then went to another store and despite the sel of £60, they did in fact scan at £30.
Just one to watch for, not sure if this was store specific or whether t's have corrected the price this eve whilst I was in the second store (was in there almost 2 hours).
I'm hopefully off to a couple of different stores tomorrow, so if I see them I will scan and let you know.
Also 2 new 4p finds (I think), boys spongebob slippers, navy blue with no back, spongebob on front in sunglases and baseball cap and pictures inside slippers. Size 3-4, bc 5052319209709, aw10. And baby boys shoes/boots. Brown leather type with elastic sections on either side at the top, f&f kids, size 4, bc 5052004780728, aw10. Description on bc says BTS Chelsea Brow. Be careful these were on the rack with loads of other identical ones with aw11 on bc (although i'll confess in my excitement i forgot to actually scan the others to make sure:o). If i see them again i'll be sure to check.
hth:)
oh and i've since checked the aw11 shoes and these do scan at correct price, so it's just the aw10 ones your looking for.A clinically depressed person with a sleep condition. I'm in my own little world, but it's ok the people like me here
