WinJackie it sounds like a loads of balls they are spouting
Wish there was something I could do to help. On the sign where I got mine it had 3 different pictures one for DJ Hero and then 2 for Guitar Hero all different prices but no SELs as such so no BC or anything.
I spoke to cust serv earlier and the guy was so nice he said that the lady that served me broke 2 policies and will be in trouble oooopsHe is sending the rest of the DTD back to me on a gift card as I thought but means I am £10 up plus a present for OH
Well done on getting the rest of your DTD back :j
I think a lot depends on who you speak to at HO. As soon as the woman I spoke to (at HO) said she would discuss it with the store first "as she wasn't sure what that store's policy was on wrongly priced items" I knew she would leave any decision to the store itself. (I did query the "individual store policy" bit......... surely Tesco have a "blanket" policy but she said sometimes it depends on the store) ????
I did ring HO back and told them I wasn't happy about the conversation with the Duty Manager today (basically he said that the two staff who checked and confirmed the SEL last night have looked at it again and agreed that the description is different ). The person who took my second call at HO said I should really follow it up with the original lady in HO who took my first call and has emailed her to call me again
It really is the principle now as I feel that they think I am stupid...... I read that SEL numerous times and KNOW that it described the product I purchased, it WAS an overcharge for that reason and they are trying to tell me that barcodes AREN'T unique to a product :mad:If at first you don't succeed ........Alternative autism therapies should be free!!

WinJackie could you try sending it all off to the philipclarke email address? Never done it though I have seen some people get things resolved.
Quite worrying at how they can treat a customer especially one who understands the system. I couldn't imagine being a "genuine customer" (if you get me?) who doesn't understand it.
ETA: Just had a thought I've been hunting the pj's and no idea if they will be suitable for OH as he is 6 foot 5 any ideas?
Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0 -

It might go up to 12p if Toni can manage a hat trick with the slippers :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
She could even add socks and boxers and still only spend 20p. Really pushing the boat out, she could get 2 x Nivea Cool Kick shaving gels @ 1.85 each BUT only if there is the large b1g1f Nivea sign near them! (it's about the only one not on b1g1f but the sign doesn't say that!). He would think all his Christmasses had come at once!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
i just wanted to post a little tip i have discovered on how to remove the security tags,as there is nothing more annoying when you get clothing home only to find the damn things, this happened to me the other day when i had bought a couple of pairs of the rugby pjs the tags were well hidden on the waistband so the sa didnt realise there were tags on them, as i got to the door the security alarm was already going off because there was a disabled man in an electric scooter that was making the alarm go off  so i had no idea about the tags until i got home, so looked on the internet and found a clip on utube, what you do is get something like a spoon, knife handle etc and tap the round nobbly end were the pin is, keep tapping it and gently pull out the pin, it might take a few atempts but it eventually comes out, this works as there are small ball bearings holding the pin in place and the tapping makes them loosen and release the pin! hope this helps anyone not relishing the thought of taking a 4p item back to have the tag removed;)0
