hi, i have just received a letter regarding a ccj claim from bank of scotland for a forthwith payment, which there is no way i can pay.
Can i write back to the court to advise them of this, and ask for monthly installments. Do i need to ask for a re-determination or a variation order.
I will send a income and expenditure form. Is there a fee to write to them for a change in order.
Any advice on how to start the letter would be really helpful
thnaks for all your help

You now need to fill in a form for variation of the payments.
Apparently the Courts are so busy that in the first instance, although they have full details of you income and expenditure, they are issuing the CCJ anyway, then waiting for the N245 coming in to work out the amounts that folks can actually pay. Seems a bit of a stupid way of doing it but there it is.
Form N245
