Lidl are selling these with 2 year warranty - Fireproof - 30 mins rated
and waterproof.
Been looking at something to store my deeds etc in for a while - this is by far the cheapest fireproof A4 size I have come across.

when your houe burns down, at least you have proof you're the rightful owner of a shell! :rotfl:Monthly Food Budget: out of the window0

...and you have the papers to prove it's your house and you're insured!
Wills come in A4 size as well I believe - need to get this sorted.0 -
Excellent. I've been meaning to get one of these for my deeds. Thanks OP0

Not sure about the 2 year warranty, though! Does that mean if your house burns down in 2 years and a day, your document safe will burst into flames?0

If that happens, I think that would be the least of your worries! :eek:0 -
Bought one of these yesterday - even better than I thought. Very good quality. Be careful though - they are heavy.
All docs safely stored away now.0 -
Aaargh! Someone has stolen my safe!
I was just imagining a scenarion there for a mad second or two.
Is there any way one can bolt these things down? Are there holes in the back or bottom for screw-bolts so that these safes can be fixed into position and made un-nickable?0
