I have about £120000 of debt, all from credit card debt going back to 2000. These were spread across 20 credit cards. Over the years all the debts have been sold on to debt companies such as 1st Credit or Lowell. I have been trying to pay the debts monthly but only at £10 per account. This takes £140 a month which leaves me on my limit financially. I have no spare cash, although I am in secure employment
I am 58 and know that at this rate the debt will be with me until I die. This does worry me because obviously when I retire with only a state pension I will not have enough income to pay any of the outstanding debt.
Is there any way I can get out of this never ending spiral? Any ideas or advice would be appreciated
