working from home

Hi, spent the last few days searching for part time work on the internet and am surprised at how many "get rich quick" schemes are on there - mostly American. they promise you no outlay ---- Anybody any advice on working from home that they have used and it works for them? Or anything that can generate some income for us?

  • Have you looked at the Matched Betting threads on here (Gambling and Introductory Offers)? Its not a get rich scheme and is certainly not without dangers (although is risk free if you follow the system carefully and don't 'gamble'). You wont make a fortune but I've made about £600 profit since the start of December and theres plenty of people who have made more. I would point out again that whilst the system itself is more or less risk free, there is the potential for human error so if you do decide to try it, read up well on the threads and make sure you understand it fully before even trying.

Other things I have tried are online surveys (YouGov, Ciao, Zoomrewards). Although, it takes a long time to actually extract any money/vouchers from this.

Perhaps you could also register for mystery shopping with various companies online. You get paid for sampling products and visiting restaurants/bars (as well as your meal paid for).

Theres also obviously ebay, where you can sell off unwanted possessions or even buy stuff to sell on ebay.

Hope some of that may help you. Will be interested to hear if you find other means of making cash online!

Another good online survey site is onepoll.

I have won £200 twice on there since joining up in October!

Id advise not to get into anything that you have to actually make a initail outlay on.

I have lost track of the number of these "schemes" I have read about or got myself invloved in other the last couple of years. Waste of time and money most of them.

I do Kleeneze from home, it's actually my main job as I have two kids and am on my own. They have just changed the started fee, its now £125 but that gets you 200 catalogues and everything you need to get started (it used to be £75 for the business kit and 50 catalogues and it's £30 per 50 catalgoues after that, and you need at 150 to work it properly)

I don't know if this would be suitable for you, but if it is or you just want more information then feel free to contact me and I can try and asnwer your questions.

BTW, it's not a get rich quick scheme, you will have to work at it, it's a business and needs treating as such, but it does work.
  • I just joined Onepoll and filled out about 5 surveys hopefully I'll win some money, thanks for directing me to their site never heard of them and every penny counts. Thanks again.

How legit are onepoll -slightly worried by the 0870 number, and the lack of any postal contact details, or am I being paranoid?

I have to say a couple of the questions in the surveys worried me... rather strange questions like do I often use the same password for joining websites and do I often call someone to let them know that I am going to be home late etc...
