I got my brother into Matched Betting, then shortly after he announced he was buying a place (not due to winning loads!). Had to send his Bank Statements into NatWest with about 30 new gambling transactions to different bookies over the 3 months.

banks not fussed so long as account is managed well i was worried about this so asked them a couple of years ago. but that was the halifax who i bank with suppose a really good rate referred to under writers of a different bank may view it differantly.
couple of tips i do just to be on the safe side
1 if your on betfair try to limit withdrawals/deposits leave in as a rolling balance
2 if you bet with a bookmaker look at william hill they do a service were you pay money over the counter get a printed voucher ref then enter that refferance into computer to make deposit simple to do and nothing put on bank statements.0
