I'd do just that - it's unlikely you'll see it again if you move on to something else.

Not the first time either, but on the previous occasion the store were happy to accept the handwritten code.

My windows 8 phone seems to save & store the screen with the code on the phone itself rather than trying to retrieve it from the internet each time

I think maybe its only Android phones that suffer from this issue ?
