Hello everyone:snow_grin
Today I am taking an iMac to be "cleared" with a view to selling it, so hopefully will get a few pennies for something that is not being used.
I also need to do my banking - some clients pay me in cash and it is too tempting just to "dip in" to the cash before it gets as far as the bank! So far this year I haven't dipped in, but it gets harder the later in the month we get!!
Have a good day everyone, and if you are going out, drive carefully.

My top priority for moneysaving today.......
Throwing extra money in to the pot for a baby.
Hubby has been offered a new job (and accepted) and its on 1/3 more money than he is on now and he was always worried about starting a family if we JUST managed... but now we will be more than comfortable.... just have to wait to move in to the new house and then we'll be away!!! knocking boots constantly (i hope)
ha ha ha, its made my year so far as ive been really down lately (post wedding blues)
Brought lunch with me today, nice thick warming risotto soup as its so cold. No snow in Newcastle this morning but the gritters have been out en masse so im hoping they know something i dont!!0 -
Morning everyone  brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr it's cold here! Still least it ain't raining!!!:j
Today my small DFW thing is preparing a table with every step I need to do in claim back my bank, loan and credit card charges.
Each card or account has it's own logo (Lloyds Cahoot etc) in a column at the top of the page with at least 20 different things to do in rows down the side.
There are eight companies I have to claim from so I am planning the attack a bit like a millitary operation else I'll lose the plot with the lot of it.....! _pale_ lol:rotfl: :rotfl:
Love Sas xCurrent debt and mortgage: £25, 820.35 Debt/Mortgage at start: £92,598 (27/09/2010)

That reminds me i need to send a cheque off to Barclaycard for them to release my records.
Thanks for reminding me!!
I like your idea. I had shed loads of calendar reminders set up for me in my outlook at work so i wouldnt forget.... new what to do and when, when they popped up!
Not that i spend my entire day at work on MSE and organising my social life via my outlook *giggle*0 -
Aiming to have a NSD today. I'm going to call the local Kia garage to arrange a test drive and get a £20 M&S voucher
Another one (when it arrives) for the Olympic challenge. Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 208 - Proud To Have Dealt With My Debts DEBT FREE DECEMBER 2008!!!0 -
Yet more ebay for us. Posting, listings ending and listing more today (10p listing day today).
Last night hubby claimed some points from a Virgin card which as little consolation as it is for his spending on the card in the first place gets us £20 vouchers in sainsburys for food shopping.
Fingers crossed we will hear today whether the people who saw the car yesterday want to buy it. Otherwise it means spending more money on advertising. Had it on Autotrader website for 2 weeks at £16.99 but only 2 genuine customers. Anyone think it's worth paying the £40 to list in the magazine for one issue, or should we try the classifieds on ebay?
I shall be doing my Pigsback competitions. Clickthrus on Quidco etc.0 -

Clickthrus on Quidco?! What am I missing out on here?! I am a member of Quidco but have never done a clickthru - can you advise?0 -
Morning all.
A NSD today - also, it doesn't sound very moneysaving, but I'm taking lots of things to the charity shop, which does help with money saving as it's easier for me to find stuff I'm looking for!
Also will be claiming expenses, eating leftovers again for lunch and borrowing the office sat nav so I don't waste any diesel getting lost!Overpay!0 -
Clicks are when you are paid to look at an advert - I don't do Quidco so cannot tell you exactly what adverts give cashback, but I am sure someone will advise. Are you a member of Pigsback? It is the same principle as the purple boarders aroung adverts.
Today I have had a NSD and done my daily clicks

Only spent £2.10No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Rescued two jiffy bags from OH's post to reuse for my amazon book sales.
Checked online bank accounts.
Still not had to do any food shopping, and have still got loads of stuff in freezer and cupboards. Not shopped now since xmas except for milk and fresh veggies:D
