Post BR savings account

Hi! Celebrating my AD today and already wondering about how and where I can open a savings account now. I have a coop cashminder current account but would like to open a separate savings account. Any ideas who might accept me? Do I need to wait a while or clean my credit file up first?

Ask the Co-op, they will give you one though you will have to apply and then appeal as computer says no and then human says yes.
Yorkshire Building Society Internet Saver is another one, just apply on line. Many on the board who are still BR or discharged have one of these. http://www.ybs.co.uk/savings/online/internetsaver/index.html
I believe a few have the Sainsburys saving account and I am guessing that now Co-op have taken over Brittania BS you should be able to get something with them. Also Barclays do one. http://www.sainsburysbank.co.uk/savings/sav_savings_zone.shtml http://www.britannia.co.uk/_site/channels/savings/index.html http://www.barclays.co.uk/PersonalBanking/P1242557947640
Also get yourself a Credit Union account if you are able. Google credit union and your county or town.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
