i picked up something from direct today that i paid for with double up vouchers, it dosnt suit me, can i take it back to swap for something of similar value like a few cardigans if they are down in price

thanks op hubby has his eye on £40 jacket which i had originally bought but had to take back as it was too big he needed a smaller size which they didnt have so ended up getting a jacket for me with the giftcard oops lol my local now has the jacket in his size but we dont have the cash will try doubling up £10 of my vouchers and get it that way happy husbands are always good lol

i bought a purple duffle coat, didnt' like the colour and wanted to change it for a brown one, plus i bought it last week when there was the 2 discount codes kicking in.
Went this morning and asked on clothing can i exchanged purple for brown, she told me that i'd have to get a refund from direct and then re-buy from them, went to next desk direct, explained that i didn't have my receipt and just wanted a swap, said she couldn't do it, girl from clothing was there, and saw my face, she said she'd be prepared to just do a straight sway, but if i was to return anything again i would need my receipt.

So if i was you, i'd check that your store has the product you want, and just tell them you bought it with your shopping and threw away the receipt by mistake, and just want a exchange.
