in It's gone, but was it any good?
Hello
My first post here, and the first time I have started a thread, so hope I get it right.
In Sainsburies this afternoon and they have £10 off 3ltr boxes of Terre Dei Sicani Shiraz, £9.99 normal price £19.99 on top of that there is also a further multy buy discount of 10% [6 I think]

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I couldn't find it.

    Was this a normal offer or a stock clearance? I went to Sainsburys last night and they had a couple of shelves of wine all half price - not a normal offer - but stock clearance so could vary branch to branch. I bought 18 bottles of various types and they ended up averaging less than £2 per bottle....because the 5% off 6 bottles is 5% off the original price so £3.99 originally = £2 less 5% of £3.99 = £1.80. Couldn't leave them on the shelves at that price!

    This was a normal offer, on the shelves with all the wines, not a stock clearance as far as I know.

    I don't know Steve either, unless it's the one from 1986 ;)

    I think he's in your signature profile but am not sure - someone will come to the rescue.

    LindaC, some people have signatures they didn't write - something to do with the software changeover. To get rid of Steve in your signature, you need to edit your signature. You can do this in UserCP which is on the top bar. Click on edit signature on the left and you can then delete the text.

    I was in Sainsbury today and never saw this offer, and the only thing's I ever buy there, are wine and gadgets :D

    you need to log in to the Sainsburys To You section and then if you search for Shiraz it comes up at the bottom of the list
