What is Tesco's policy when you return an item regarding Clubcard points you have already been awarded, do they reclaim the clubcards points ?
I have tried to search for thi without success:rolleyes:

never, never, never.
They don't deduct money off coupons used either when returning items, although I often wonder if they ever will.Saving money right, left and centre0 -
It is probably not worth the effort for them to dedcut clubcard points. CS probably just see a value of a few pence on them (they are worth more to MSEs who save hard and convert to deals). I have even once returned an item with 'extra' points on promotion and got to keep the points. However, I have heard of some people having points deducted for returning "get an extra 999 points" electronic items,They say you can't put a value on life... but I live it at half price!0

i realised this by accident, i don't usualy pay that much attention to my receipt but it's true, it's your total spend that decides the points, not the amount paid - if that makes senceDon’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.0 -
my oh works for MrT so has a discount card that doubles as cc, he has taken a few things back and they have asked for his card so points are deducted aswell as the discount put back on his card, but on the other hand there has been times when they have never batted an eye lid! suppose its like most things depends whos serving at cs and what sort of day they're having.0
