Who is terribly nervous about seeing formal wedding photos!

My pictures (from wedding on 8 October) are coming tomorrow, and I just hope they are as good as I hope they will be! The day was so wonderful, and as we don't have many pictures from other people there is a lot riding on these ones.

I was the same. More so because I had 1 photographer from the moment I was back from the hair dressers, capturing those memories as I was getting ready was what I was hoping for the most and it didn't disappoint.

She did a lovely job, so much so I having to create a 'getting ready' photo album.

Yes, I was petrified. I hate having my picture taken and am extremely narrow minded about what makes a good picture of me. Added to the fact I'm incredibly fussy about the faces that people are pulling - I'm difficult to please!

All I wanted was one or 2 nice photos and I'd have been happy - I got that and much more Good luck!

My wedding is next friday, but i'm dreading the photos already!!
i'm not photogenic, and can't carry off the extra 10lbs that the camera puts on you!!

I agree I'm not looking forward to having my photo taken let alone seeing them in print

I wear glasses so I've always been paranoid about reflections and it look looking right so I'm thinking about getting contact lenses for the wedding but my mum said I won't look like me but thats the point I want to look better :rotfl:

Oh I can't wait for mine! They were delivered this week but we were out so they're being redelivered tomorrow and I've made hubby promise not to open them before I get home. Our photographer has already written a blog piece on his website about our wedding which was just gorgeous, and he put 40+ photos on that so we've already got a good idea of what to expect and I was well pleased

I have seen some pictures, and I don't really look like me - I look good! Which is how it should be I suppose.

Nikki and JewelleryFan, I was nervous about the photographs too - but actually it when the photographer took us away for an hour for pictures it was about the only time we had when it was just the two of us, and it was fantastic. I could have spent hours wandering around London looking for more and more places to take pictures. We only went back because dinner was about to be served.

I'm really nervous about mine, we had some pre wedding pictures with our photographer, and they are lovely pictures, but I keep thinking "OMG, I have to lose all this weight before the wedding!" Usually I'm not bothered about my weight ( ie I moan but dont do anything about it) but I know I'll be devastated if I dont look good on my wedding day - its the one day to be perfect for my H2B!
