My daughter is in year 8 at a local secondary and achieving great results, but she would prefer to be at the local grammer with most of her friends. Does anyone on here know we would go about her retaking the AQE at the end of yr 8?
Thanks:)
Thanks:)

I know of a local boy who failed the AQE and GL to gain a place at the grammer schools. He was given a place at a very good secondary but wanted to be at the grammer with his mates from primary school. He done some kind of test at the grammer (Canbridge House) outside the AQE/GL assesment ?? not sure how that worked, but he failed so went to the sceondary school. Might be worth contact the grammer to find out.0
