Should I also take life insurance and mortgage protection from First Direct? Is it needed?0 -
Insurance is usually a good idea, but you will normally get a better rate going to an indepedant broker, also you need advice on the most suitable insurances. Lenders do not give full advice.
Get the mortgage underway, before you lose the rate you want, you don't have to do the insurance at the same time, so you have no rush to consider this.I am a Mortgage Adviser
