titanium weeding band for H2B

Hi

does anybody know anything about titanium wedding bands? H2B wants one, he won't be wearing his ring very often as it will be dangerous in his line of work (he's a mechanic) I've noticed they are pretty cheap and look good in the pics I've seen online but not sure how they look in the flesh?

  • I got H2B a titanium wedding ring too (he's also a mechanic and will hardly ever wear it!) We got ours from Ernest Jones, and it does look really good. I'm no expert, but it looks like any other normal wedding ring to me! I think it cost us about £50, which I think is about right for the amount of wear it'll get.

I used to wear a titanium ring for a few years before I got married as a weird kinda pre-engagement ring kinda thing and it was fine. I'm quite an active guy and it took a few knocks, bumps etc but it still looked quite good by the end. It's noticeably darker than other metals, though, so it's worth checking that you like the colour. I've since "upgraded" to a palladium wedding ring and it's much shinier and, for me, a nicer colour - but it tends to show damage rather more. (put a big scuff across it on honeymoon trying to hold onto a rock so I could watch some dolphins...woops :D)

We're getting one for my fella from goldsmiths using our Tesco vouchers! It's £49 and looks lovely!

Will require about 12.50 of our vouchers... Bargain!

  • I have had one a few years now with a diamond in from H Samuel and wear it everyday (work as a carpet cleaner so it gets a bit of abuse) and it still looks good.
  • thank you for your reply's that's my plan too, just need to find out his ring size then we can get on with ordering
  • My OH wants a titanium wedding ring but he wants a gold inlaid one at around £250. I don't think he will wear his very often since he went on and on about having an engagement which is also titanium and never bloomin wears it.

  • Yep, he went on and on and on about having an engagement ring, I told him men didn't get them but he still insisted that he wanted one. He showed me the one he wanted which was a lord of the rings one (I sometimes worry about him) so I went on Amazon and ordered it and I think he's wore it twice. Complete waste of money, in fact I think I may just have make him have it for his wedding ring :D
  • Also known as a MENgagement ring!

Sorry if this looks like spam - it isn't!
I recently bought a titanium wedding band for my upcoming wedding online from John Greed Design, and have been bowled over by the product, price and service I recieved, in addition to a healthy rate of Quidco. I would certainly recommend them to anyone interested, -I was particularly impressed by the custom engraving they did to the inside of the ring (my wedding date) and the fact that even though it was a custom order they still posted it the same day that I ordered!
