Hi
Does anyone know if by law your employer must keep a copy of your contract? What if they lose it?
Many thanks

No. There is no requirement in law even for a contract to be written down.
The only requirement is for you to receive, in writing, a statement of your principal terms and conditions within two months of your start date.0
