Whoopsies in the Co-op

My parents live a few miles from me and they are on holiday. Whilst checking the house was ok etc, I nipped into the Co-op to see if there were any bargains as my mother gets a few.
This is what I got in the reduced:
. New Covent Garden soup - 54p was £2.15
. Truly Irresistible Coleslaw - 43p was 86p (tomorrow's date!)
. 6 pack Mullerlight yoghurts - 90p was £3.49. The pack had Sunday's date on them (6th) and when I opened the pack up to put them in the fridge, one of the flavours had the 8th as a bb date!:j
Some of my mum's bargains in the past:
. Braising steak - 40p
. several packs of bbq meat - 40p each
. packs of parma ham - 20p each
. Warbie's Seeded Sensation 800g - 35p
. cartons of long life milk - 10p each. She uses these to make yoghurts
. 2 pack individual sticky toffee puddings - 20p

I used to work by a Co-op and always used to pop in - they always had good reductions.
I don't have one that near where I live though that I can walk to all that easily0 -
Oh I love my local co-op!
I always get lots of stuff reduced down to half price or less.
Last week I bought reduced vegetable stew packs, sprouts, cabbages and cauliflowers.0 -
I used to go to a co-op near my workplace on the way home on the afternoon...they uised t have some good deals there!0

God I wish I had a decent Co-op! I regularly have to point out to them that the reduction they have done is worse value than buying it as a B1G1F that has a longer date! They just shrug their shoulders, lol!"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

We have a small co-op nearby & if you call in at the right time there are usually loads of bargains, they don't mess about, at 8pm ish they just reduce all the reduced stuff to 20p.
I've had loads of bakery stuff, bread, cakes etc. fruit & veg, ready meals (for emergencies only you understand!). A couple of weeks ago i got a 20p chicken - it did the two of us a roast dinner, chicken & tomato sauce for pasta & two days of chicken & veg soup.
The co-op on the other side of town never has any bargains so it must be the managers choice.
S's over the road used to have bargains then stopped. I think they must have caught on to the co-op though as last night I popped in & there were loads of cream cakes 2 & four packs @ 29p - not good for the diet but at that price it would be rude not to. There were also some "Gu" black forest cheese cake things - two in a pack were £3.49 @ 39p, we had some as did mum - nice little glass ramakins as well.
