I've also noticed that I am spending around £30 a month just on chocolate
Wow that's potentially 4kg of Cadbury Dairy Milk.

I'm also ashamed to say that I have identified that I chuck away at least £10 of food a month. This will STOP!
    Hopefully not chocolate.

On a serious note I would love to get the Mort household food waste level down to £10 a week.

Mort - I know that's a scary amounts of chocolate!!!!

Well this month is generally going well, still have £170 in the bank so split between three remaining weeks that's just over £56 a week! So fingers crossed!

I have the rugby this weekend but I have already set aside £30 for this and then hopefully that's it socially!

I have however just started an Adult Ed sewing class and am finding all the material I need is denting into the budget! Why are hobbies so expensive!?

Ive paid off the extra of last months CC and so far only spent £46 this month but I already have the money in a special pot in my savings account. So CC accounted for and nowhere near the overdraft.... I hope if I can stay in budget this month then the next couple of months will be so much easier as I wont be robbing my pots to cover the shortfall!!! Bring it on!

Hope everyone else is doing okay!

Well things are continuing well on the low spending front! (slightly thanks to my parents for getting my petrol and a few food bits to last this week)
I still have £145 left in my spends (petrol, food, going out etc) and all CC payments accounted for!!!

I might actually end this month with money in my account (touch wood)! I feel like this is a turning point for me, and the most financially stable I have been in years! Fingers crossed for the next couple of weeks!

Well, were nearly there ... 6 months left on the DMP, and weve managed to get a few creditors to accept 50% of the remaining debt as full & final settlements.

Checking out credit score, were both back in the 900's and all defaults are gone.
Recently weve just spent £3000 on a sofa (12 months interest free), so well beable to settle the finance when the DMP is finished, and have just started making payments towards a family holiday (spending Christmas 2016 in the Sun).

Also planning to get a conservatory erected over the winter (groundwork already been done by hubby, and finance for the structure spread over 10 years is only £60 a month on the mortgage, so 2-3 years should see that cleared.

Still waiting to hear from a few creditors if they will accept F&F payments, so we may be finishing the DMP sooner.

Just changed my current account to one that pays cashback on some bills when you pay by direct debit.
