Getting older sometimes has its downsides.

Like, pain when it rains...?

Another downside is..when one pops a couple of eggs on to boil, hard boiled for a nice salad.........................then forgets about them!

Water boils dry...pan gets hotter and hotter...finally, BOOM...THE EGGS EXPLODE!


Half my kitchen is now plastered with hard-boiled egg....it's everywhere!





What a pain, trying to clear up bits of egg from everything.......lordy-knows how it got inside the tumble dryer?

S&H now needs counselling as well!

BLAAAHHHH!



Oooh, last night had to eat yet another cookery offering from S&H....[although this time, he remembered to bring home enough for Dad, and Mum and sister!]

Spanish meat balls....[I think that's what they said?]...with a nice-but-strange sauce...neither XOH [Mum] nor myself could accurately identify it... however..


Very tasty, as it happens....[am also pleased that XOH felt compelled to share in the...erm...process?]


definitely a zero Gaviscon rating..this time!


Well done, S&H........[he does like his cooking 'lessons' at school....don't think he should consider carving a career in the subject yet,,though....?

I'm OK, thank you, better than I was earlier anyway:) We did indeed have the lovely sunshine earlier and very good it was too:D. Hope you're OK today and enjoyed the F1 (even if the result wasn't quite what you wanted - he can always get a puncture;)).
