ipod touch 4g case - how does this work?

I don't quite understand if this is a clip on thing that goes over the ipod or does it go in place of the ipod original back?

If it's just a clip on thing then the front will be unprotected?

Anyone used anything like this?

I want a Manga case of some sort for my daughter's ipod touch but I'm not sure if this one is protective enough.

I think its a clip on thing. I got my daughter a ipod touch 8gb white for xmas, she had the v1 touch but button doenst work

The one I bought looked like that but had a similar part for the front so the two pieces clipped together.

However, it only frames the ipod, the screen is left unprotected. If they don't say so then I would assume they don't send it with a screen protector.

You can get cases rather than covers. Like a leather *envelope* that the ipod slides into.

This is just an example.

I wouldn't mind if that was the case, I would just buy a separate screen protector.

The one in my link doesn't mention a front part though which is why I thought it might just have been a clip on back. :undecided

I've got something similar on my MP3, no it doesn't protect the screen but just get a screen protector (Amazon seem to have the lowest prices and shops are so expensive its actually shocking to think how much they get for them in profit.

If you want any more protection you can buy sleeves to put the player into. CPW do some but again these are expensive, get the brand name of what you want and look on ebay or amazon.

I can't seem to find a Manga design case anywhere, they all seem to be just the clip on back type.

So the choice seems to be Manga/clip on or more protection/not desired design.

It's always the way. :undecided
