Hi - how long do you have to pay the bill? what is the bill for - could you pay in instalments or make an arrangement to pay over a number of months?

Do you have any family or friends you could ask? An advance on your salary?

If you have a few weeks, are you registered with greasypalm, or quidco? Is there anything in your monthly budget which could be shuffled round? Any CD's computer games which could go on ebay?

    There is hope, don't worry.

    Hi there
Is is business rates? I am sure if you phone them you can arrange an installment plan, but you may need to show them that you are a bit strapped for cash (ie show them your income and outgoings)

Have a look at the things you would never would believe would sell on ebay thread. You might find some ideas there.

whats your chance of an over draft? i did that..my normal free over draft is 900 but i needed 600 quickly, and upped it to 1500 for 2 months during which i sorted something out to pay it off.

Hi first of all stop panicking

What is the bill exacly for (what rates?)

If you have no means of paying and nothing to sell then they cannot take what you dont have.

I suggest you contact these people and see if you can arange some sort of payment schedule, that you can manage

Id also post an SOA on here to see if we can help you sort out your financial sitution with a solid plan

Also id suggest the CCCs or Payplan as they may be able to help you negotiate and avoid court

  • Thanks for all your advice. It is for house rates which i should have paid last year. My debt are getting deeper and deeper. It just seems to be one thig after another. What can happen next, I dread to think.

Try posting an SOA - it might help you be prepared!
If it helps my debt reduction last year was practically zero - due to some big unexpected bills. My only consolation was at least it didn't get any worse.
    I have plenty of willpower - it's won't power I need.

    Do you mean Council tax?

If you do, exactly what letters have you received, and from whom?
Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.
