Not really sure where to post this, this probably isnt the correct forums but you all seem to know your stuff
.
Im 16 and had a Chritsmas temp job, now every payment I had was addressed to "Dr M Smith" now im not a doctor so I said something to my employer, it didnt bother me I was just curious and they said I could get it changed but it really isnt worth it.
I thought it was something to do with their details, now I got a thing from the Inland Revenue today saying about how much i earned and how much tax I paid (none) and on here it says "Dr" aswell, its a bit annoying. But I can't find where I can ring up to get it changed to just Mr. Does anyone know how I can get it changed?

Ring your local tax office - you can find it here ->http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/local/I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0
