Not seeking DF advice, just wondered if there is anybody on here who has a job at CAB, DebtLine or anywhere else - I've just applied for a job as a debt case bod at CAB and wonder what you thought of it?

I work for a project doing debt work and advice and I love it.

There are a lot of challenges, but it is very rewarding as you help people to get their lives back on track, esp once they have sat down and you have worked out a spending budget, that seems to be when the light bulb moment happens.

We also do court work and that is very interesting.....

I am a volunteer advisor at CAB and find it very interesting. Training and support are excellent. The only criticism paid workers seem to have is that sometimes, in order to deal with the workload, there seems to be a bit of unpaid overtime.
