    I'd be worried if the interviewer said that to me, I am not sure as a candidate that I am the right person for them to give their resignation to :D

    "I don't think you're the right person for this job" at start of interview.

    Said to me over 40 years, and the interviewer was right, I wasn't! Had no experience of that line of work and although it looked interesting and I thought I would be able to cope, I probably wouldn't.
    If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

    You know you haven't got the job when then say...

    'we feel this job won't be big enough for your experience and you will get bored'

    yeah and the job was advertised 3 months later probably when the person they took on was either 1> bored or 2> no good

    I had an interview earlier this week and one of the comments during the interview was "well whatever happens, I can tell you that you have certainly impressed us." I took that to mean that you're good but we've already seen somebody better! Still awaiting the result so I guess I don't know for sure yet.
  • When the tone of their voice and level of interest drops mid-way through the interview, and it's obvious they're winding it up so they can check their emails before the next one comes in.
