I have a customer who wants me to arrange afternoon tea/drinks somewhere nice for an important client of hers around the Euston area (not the best area in the world!!)
Any ideas anyone?
Many thanks

Thanks - looked at this one - it's a Hilton and not getting very good write ups on trip advisor so don't want to recommend it - could be embarrassing!
Anyone had afternoon tea at The British Museum?0 -
I don't know if there are any other places tucked away in the british museum but the only places i know to eat there are in the main atrium with the big glass roof. Its a lovely light area but quite noisy because its just one big hall, stone/marble floors and walls. Also the hordes of kids on school trips don't really add to the ambience, if its classy you're after!
i work near euston, i'll have a think...0 -
Thanks morg_Monster. I've never been in there even though its only down the road from where I work but my customer has just said the same thing!
Will keep on looking - any ideas gratefully received!0 -
Is your customer looking for a posh Ritz-type tea with a choice of cucumber sandwiches etc or just somewhere to go for a cuppa and some cake in nice surroundings?0

how about this hotel - its a 'boutique hotel' apparently so probably quite posh, the food and drink section says there are conservatories for afternoon tea, i guess they are open to non-residents. it looks very close to the british museum so in the right area.

I think she'd be happy with somewhere nice "in between" or a nice place for champagne/cocktails.
Will look at the website.
Thanks for your help.0
