Mortgage on benefits??

Does anyone know whether I could get a mortgage whilst on benefits. If my husband and I split up, I won't be able to work initially. I think I may get enough benefits to pay a mortgage though. Any ideas??

Yes it is possible but depends on what type of benefit you recieve. Can we have some more info. How much are you looking to raise, do you have a deposit
  • Thanks for replying to my plea. We have decided to give our marriage another go, so hopefully will not need to worry about getting a mortgage on benefits. Thanks.
