Can anyone help

In a situation and need some advice please:

Sold the marital home after separation from my husband. Mortgage got cleared completely but had a large secured loan left to pay a lump sum was paid on completion but a sum of £36,300 is still remaining. They have advised us to pay £338 over the next twenty five years as an unsecured loan. Obvioulsy the charge is now off the property.

Due to both of us being in rented we are unable to settle this amount. We have requested a one off settlement figure but they are not being very cooperative about this.

We are unable to go via an IVA due to this being the only debt we have. Can any one help as to the best way forward.

Sorry but has someone told you that you can't do an IVA. It might be worth having a chat with CCCS or Payplan and see what they say.

Will both of you be paying off this debt?

As I said try CCCS or Payplan (links at top of the forum). They will go over your circumstances on the phone, and then get back to you what is the best way forward.
