I have been looking back through posts and see that I need to give the OR 12 months worth of statements etc...
Is this a problem if I don't have them?? I always shred mine once I've checked them, so have only the last few weeks since I decided to go BR. I don't want the OR to think that I am hiding anything, but had a bit of an ID theft scare a while back so started destroying all "sensitive" information.
Are my creditors likely to play ball and let me have duplicates that I can submit??
Thanks

The OR can get any statements they need if you cannot provide them, I was able to give my bank statements but not my CC ones, just tell the OR you don`t have them as you have shredded them, it should not be a problem:):pB&SC No. 298

Am I panicking a bit too much??
Thought I'd got til Feb to sort this out so having a bit of a flap now!!
I am slightly worried as I paid my dad £500 back and my sis £1000 which they loaned me til my student loan came out, and I hear that that is "preferring a creditor" or something like that?? But when I borrowed/repaid the money I wasn't thinking of going BR0 -
When did you do this?

I had no income for a couple of months between year end of yr 2 and beginning of year 3 at uni as i was waiting for a crb check to start work.
I have since lost dla for my daughter and the top up in child tax credits so roughly £75 a week which has made things impossible.
When I borrowed the money in June I was still struggling (as I have been for a couple of years now) but could just keep my head above water.
I was told I had been given a HB overpayment of £5500 which is what has lead me down this path, although that had been wiped off as they admitted it was their mistake.0 -

If they loaned you the money against your student loan and you paid them back out of that loan then you might be OK on this one.
