No-Drain Tuna

I love the John West no-drain tuna but it has gone really expensive and is currently £3.99 for 3 tins in all of the big supermarkets. Home and Bargain had it for £2.25 for 3 tins a couple of months ago but they haven't had it again and I wondered if any of you use this and if you know of anywhere where it is on offer/cheaper than £3.99?

Got a load during Price Check DTD. Lidl this morning looked expensive.
I always compare unit kilogram price, otherwise you have to check tin sizes.
Am going over to dairy protein lot cheaper. Pennies rather than pounds.

A Bargain is only a bargain if you need it!

  • Morrison's do their own no-drain tuna and it tastes just the same as the John West one. (I really can't believe the difference in taste from the soggy wet stuff!) I don't know the price of it this week, but it is often on offer at 2 for £2, so £1 a can.

    It's only a game

Morrisons no-drain (in sunflower oil) was BOGOF at £1.39 about a week ago - may still be on offer...
