How long does the rebate take please?

Hi Everyone

I spoke to HMRC last night and they confirmed that I am due a small refund due to being on 647L since April and should have been 747L. He said that this will come back to me via my wages - so presumably I wont get a cheque?

Is this correct does anyone know? and long long does this normally take to come through?

Thanks in advance :)

Yes it is correct, and as you have been told it will resolve itself in your pay, usually in the first pay after your employer has received and actioned the revised coding notice.
