Do you not have a debit card to make day to day purchases with money you already have in your account?

Who is judging anyone? you asked the question about their finances, not me.

    I'll rephrase that then:

    "with your income"

But again, it is none of our business what their income/account balance is.

All I asked was whether they had a debit card - don't make something of nothing.

  • Whilst there is nothing physically stopping you from applying for credit when you are either in an IVA or BR, the chances of being accepted are very very slim.

From doing a bit of reading, applying for credit should be kept for financial emergencies, not for day to day spending. So if it's being able to put day to day spending on a card, like INAN suggested, without knowing what the OP actually wants the CC for it's difficult to offer accurate advice.
