£100 per week it still way too high, I'll spend roughly £170 per month for five adults in my household and that figure will contain cleaning products and pet food for the cat!!

Still having a heart attack!!!
My bill is £50 a week, that includes nappies, and feeds five of us.....0 -
£100 per week still is very high, I roughly live on a budget of £200 per month, that with five adults and all household cleaning products and cat food included. Any dinner leftovers are taken to work and I have it for my lunch

Hi! thanks for explaining the confusion over your monthly salary.
The reason I asked is because I took £2640 x 12 = £31680 and stuck that into a salary calculator, which came back with a monthly net income of £1929. Obviously, this won't be accurate if you are self-employed and your income goes up and down, but if you are going to do a realistic monthly budget there is no point in working to the gross figure.0 -
Ok that makes sence, so how should i work it out? As i am trying to work a decent one out at the moment?
Also i have got some more accurate figures for my SOA should i edit my Original post or enter them as a reply.Abbey Account 1 & 2
