Utter garbage tell me when you formed that impression? Years ago maybe? Norton has consistently been one of if not the best av packages since the 2009 edition

Agree, one of the best on the market IMO. But as you said, years ago I wouldn't touch Norton with a bargepole

This is just what I needed, only the banner isn't coming up for me. The cheapest I can get it is £17.99. I know that's cheap, but I want it for under £10 now.

I have Norton now - which expires in 20 days.

Do I need to use the details registered with that (they're in the other halfs name and he's at work until 1am) or can I just newly register in my name?

security essentials by Microsoft is a free antivirus and it doesn't take any memory.All u need is Licensed version of Windows.Just google it and download.It doesn't cost a penny!!!!
