cleaning washing up liquid bottles

I know some oldstyler out thre will have an answer to my problem

DH in his infinate wisdom has offered my services in sorting new bottles for the drivers at work to oil their rachets with (no giggling at the back )

He's brought home 24 bottles of cheap own brand of washing up liquid (it's the bottle tops that make them the ideal sort to use) I've transfered the liquid to a bigger bottle (thats mine, one of the perks, come to think of it the only perk!) All I have to do now is rinse out the bottles so no washing up liquid remains.

I'm currently knee deep in bubbles, anyone got any idea of something I can use to de-sud them? No matter how many times I rinse them out they are still frothing up when water is put in :eek:

If you put a bar of soap in a bath full of bubbles, the soap always kills the bubbles off.
You could try "bar of soap" soapy water to rinse the bottles out. Don't know if it would work, but might be worth a try. HTH

if they are still frothing up it means there is still a trace of w.u.l left in the bottles, try using a babys bottle brush or similar to get in the nooks and crannies failing that would it be the end of the world if theres some left its only oil being put in them, i`d turn them upside down let them drain and dry and they probably will be fine

Hair condition in the water also kills suds, bar soap works very well to as Essexgirl already posted. HTH.

Fabric conditioner is suppost to work aswell as salt?
