odd ball doctor.

well to cut a very long story short, my father has had to go to a tribunal to sort out his disability claim, a doctor came out to his home about 2 weeks ago and i was present at his house at the time and had to help him take his knee and ankle supports off which he has to wear to help him. the doctor asked numerous questions while doing the medical and my father answered truthfully and he stated to the doctor that once a week he does walk across to his mother in-laws house which is within a short walking distance and you can see her house from my parents house.

about a week after the medical my dad recieved the report that the doctor had put in and he was not at all happy with what it said because with the scores the doctor had given him it was as if he was perfectly healthy and has no pain. there was also quite a few mistakes on the report and also a few lies of things my dad hadnt even said.

my dad wasnt happy so rung up and said that he wasnt happy and they asked if he wanted to put in a complaint against the doctor so he said yes because surely a doctor should only write down the truth.

well a few days ago my mum was in my nans house and looked out and thought that she seen the doctor so they watched him from my nans window and seen him pacing from my parents house right the way over into my nans drive and he kept doing it over and over again, my aunty was going to go out to ask him what he was playing at but my mum suffers badly with her nerves so was to afraid to let her.

well anyway i have taken my son out trick or treating tonight and walked over to my parents house to find the doctor doing the same again but taking giant steps, soon as he seen me coming he started walking off and hiding, i then went in to my nans house and he watched me as i done this, i then came out to see him back outside my parents house and soon as he seen me he walked off and hid again so i followed him and he was walking away really fast and i couldnt keep up with him. soon as i get home my partner tells me my mum has just rung to say he was back doing it again and she was scared.

is this right what the doctor is doing? is there anyway we can put a stop to it or is he just a mental case who needs to see a doctor himself? sorry for the long story but this is a shortened version lol.

If this story is true, why not go over and say 'hello, you were at my father's house the other day, did you forget something?'.

Out of interest, who arranged the appt?

i tried following him to ask him what he was doing but he was so fast and my son was getting scared so thought i better leave it. what hes doing must be wrong because he was hiding. im not 100% percent but i think its the social that deal with dla cant be to sure on that though.
i really cant see why he would need to keep pacing back and forth. fair enough if he needed to do it once to confirm the distance but to keep doing it and come back in the dark is just plain weird. its lucky i realised who he was because if i was someone who didnt know i would of been terrified because he looked quite scary especially to be out of halloween. when i got home then also my partner drove around the block a few times to see if he was still about.

As a former Policeman, I would advise you to call the Police. The Doctor has clearly taken offence at the complaint. His actions are an offence. The section to point out is the Offences against the persons act 1861, the targeting of vulnerable victim, which your granddad sound to be.

The Doctor is targeting him, you need to take action. Don't confront, go to the Police, ask to see an inspector at the Station, report it and demand an incident number. When you see the Doctor do it again, phone and quote the incident number. Technically if your granddad feels scared, worried or even fears for his or his wife safety, then that is enough to satisfy the act.

Your granddad will then be armed with dynamite!

Sorry, I cannot understand where on earth I kept on getting Granddad from! You could go all the way to get him lifted for the offence of wounding or inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent. If you follow the steps I have advised, you will find the Police have to act. When the young plod turns up and you quote incident number and he knows one of his gaffers is involved he will have to do something.

I am glad I could help.
