Anti Allergy Bedding

Hi,
I am looking for some anti allergy bedding, but am struggling to find what I need, which is a zipped mattress cover that encloses the whole matress, a duvet cover and two pillow covers. The nurse said to avoid the ones with plastic, and to make sure they have the dust mite crossed logo on the front!
Jut wondered if anyone had any reccomendations? Didnt realise that there would be so many options!

Hi there, only a few weeks ago I bought from puraspace - i went via allergy.org
however the mattress protector ripped putting it on, and the zip broke immediately
The company were hugely apologetic and said some faulty stuff slip through, they offered a refund or replacement and am awaiting replacement.
I definitely feel the difference, a lot clearer nose in the morning0 -
That site above is just a affiliate site to a US based site http://www.shopko.com0

How about this one
http://www.allersafe.co.uk
found it on this site http://www.allergyuk.org/prod_soa_bedding.aspx0 -
Thanks for that. The puraspace ones look pretty affordable, and the site says as long as the condition is chronic you can order without paying the vat which is good to know and would save a fair bit. I have rung them and waiting to hear back. Allersafe looks really good but they seem much more expensive, maybe they are better quality? I have no experience of anything like this but my son has really severe and chronic eczema and been hospitalised twice over the last 4 weeks, and now that some allergy testing has finally been done, it seems he is allergic to the house dust miite, and apparently this bedding stops the faecal matter of the mites coming out! Its all a bit gross isnt it!0

This is something I being thinking of getting. I suffer from asthma which is made worse at night in bed I very rarely get a goods nights sleep and often dread going to be because I know as soon as I set foot in bedroom I get bunged up. I wouldnt mind we keep bedroom well vacuum with dyson and sheets are regularly cleaned
I want something that may stop dust mite. I use to have a mattress cover and pillow cases but OH didnt like them as they made a slight noise due to some rubber type material inside0 -
Hi, I have just spoke to Puraspace who said that the provent covers are not plastic but fabric and do not make any noise but we shall see! If you have a chronic condition you can fill the form and not pay the vat. Think I will likely order through them.0
