Advise for new mortgage for self employed less than 12mths accounts

Hi an anyone offer me advise. I have recently gone self employed & have a good income. I have only a 15% deposit & a ccj settled 2008 total debt £400. I Also have child maintain income & wftc ? I am only wanting a small mortgage for £80,000
??

You'll need to establish your business before lenders will consider you for a mortgage. As even only "£80k" still requires a regular income to meet the required repayments.

Oh, help yourself then.

There are lenders up and down the high street giving away £80k to anybody who wants it even if they can't prove an income.

Self Employed and looking for a mortgage? Difficult unless you have three years of very profitable trading history.

We needed to move house when DH had only 6mths worth of accounts to show. The only way around it for us was for the mortgage offer to be based on my salary and my father in laws. He was named on the mortgage for a couple of years until we remortgaged and then arranged for his name to be removed.

No one would lend to us based on mine and DH's salary, they wouldn't even consider his earnings. And this was almost 7 years ago when companies would lend to pretty much anyone.
