We've moved - do we need to tell former creditors?

We sold our house six months ago and used the equity to finally clear our debts (last one on Thursday last week), but we didn't tell any of our creditors that we had moved, leaving it instead to the mail redirection service to forward stuff on.

Now that we have paid them back, is there any point in telling them about the move, (I'm thinking about our very dodgy credit record!) or are we okay to leave the shadow of these former debts at the old address?

The debts are attached to you not to the former address. I would expect that the credit refeence agencies have already connected both addresses, unless you have avoided the electorla roll and have no accounts (including phones) that require a credit check.
