Mortgage process - meeting solicitors

Hi

When meeting with the solicitor to sign off on the purchase of the property, does the solicitor run through all existing borrowings?

Ie the mortgage promise is based on the current amount of monthly commitments, will these commitments be listed?

Preparing myself to be embarassed in front of the solicitor!

The solicitor won't know about them unless they are listed in your mortgage offer. Is there a condition that something be paid off at/on completion?

No, no conditions, just didnt want to be embarassed if the solicitor started reading out my financial commitments.

The solicitor won't be interested in them. The lender has offered you a mortgage and the solicitor only needs to know that (as far as your question is concerned).
