do I elect to Disable, Unisntall or merely Hide Button?
I uninstalled it. I too use Skype but all removing this did was to stop telephone numbers on pages being highlighted and ready to call using Skype. Frankly I don't miss this.0 -
Chrome opens New 'Tabs' along the top for each webpage you want to visit - when you click 'New Tab' (the one with the + sign on the right) it offers a choice of previously-closed pages.
############
No it doesn't, it reads 'Browse thousands of apps for google and chrome'. Below: 'Visit the Chrome Web Store' in a blue panel.
Then you click "most visited" at the bottom and it never does that again...0 -

Personally GC is great - user interface is smooth, operates like a smart phone - so if you're used to these - it works well.
I never got on with opera - hated the user interface
Firefox was my preferred browser but it kept causing errors when ever I closed it and I kept getting 'ccs skin error' messages (not solved and I can't find the installation disc for my IP either!).
So, if you're looking for a really good browser - go for Firefox - as this is probably the best all round browser and will have similar features to IE.
If you want to get back to IE - follow these steps...I have Vista as my OS - so may be slightly different for XP or W7
1. click start button, chose 'default programs'
2. chose 'set your default programs'
3. chose the browser you want as the default (IE)
4. Then confirm - '--> set as default browser'
This should get you back to IE.'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' : Member number 632

With a Grey arrow to the left, and two icons - Most Visited and Apps - along the bottom.
Click the arrow to switch between Apps (the screen you're looking at) and Most Visited. Then the arrow moves to the right. You're switching between two screens. When you click Most Visited, the next time you open a new tab, it shows you the Most Visited screen instead of the Apps screen. The icon at the bottom of the screen changes according to which screen you're on. Clever, huh?
I still don't get your 'work in progress' comment. Are you browsing web pages, or modifying them? If you're merely browsing them, what 'work' are you doing....? I just don't follow.0 -
Can't say I like Chrome in the slightest myself, but its great to have a choice, isn't it?If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0
