some companies dont want a perfect cr. they afterall want to make a bit of profit out of you lol

The P2P companies charge borrowers a fixed fee, so it isn't in their interest to take on more risky people. That is why rates on Zopa are so low at the moment.

I'm sorry the person was unable to get a loan, but Zopa won't disclose the reason, but I wouldn't worry too much as Zopa, like the other P2P companies do reject a lot of people. It isn't that you would be a risk, but people with similar credit profiles could be a risk.

Santander came through for me and at 0.7% below the Zopa rate, approved within 15 seconds and no £130 fee.:D

Zopa took over a week to say no :rotfl:

Absolutely stunned to hear zopa turned me down for a loan for 5k

My credit score = 999 out of 999
Been in my job for 30 years+
Lived at my house for 16 years +
    No credit card debt
Never ever missed a payment on a loan or mortage payment.

Called them they say their lending criteria is very strict, at this rate they wouldn't even lend the queen a fiver
Do you own your home as that is one of there lending criteria the last time I looked?
Life is short, smile while you still have teeth :D
