Beware Scammers about!!

Beware not sure if this is the right place to post this just got a call from a guy at Dt communications????? i have won £10,000 and a ipad yippee.

then my alarm bells went off and i told him i was in a meeting and it was not good to talk now and hung up.
the number is 01616567994 what gives it away as a scam is when you answer you get a ringing tone so they are ringing many people at the same time if you answer they grab you.

stay clear if you ask me,, shame it really wasn't £10,000 and a ipad as i am skint and unemployed right now with 5 kids and 1 one the way could have really done with it for Christmas...:(

Sorry you got ur hopes up with this scammers call.. but also thanks for the warning.. i save all these numbers in my phone under cr* p1 cr* p2 etc

I got a call from the exact same company but they were claiming that my computer was sending signals when it shouldn't have been.....think they were trying to hack my computer! I asked for their number to call them back and he put the phone down. The bloke sounded foreign and when I pressed 1471 the number was 002200!!!

i had the same thing, i put the number up here to warn other people too but it was a diff num from the 1 u have posted so they r using more than 1!

I have been receiving calls from this number for 3 days now. The call i answered started making a dialling tone so i hung up immediately. I rang the number from a landline to ask them to remove my number from the call list and the first person hung up on me. Then when I called back and asked them nicely to stop calling they insisted it was because I entered a competition to win an ipod, that I dont remember entering, and that I was being rude to them and they would not remove my number or stop calling me. Upon that the man hung up on me. I had to download a call blocking app for my phone so I dont have to put up with the calls anymore.
