I'll be working, but will have the radio on, and they always observe the minutes silence so I'll remember the people who have fought for us.

It's Rememberance Day so I shall be wearing my poppy and observing the minute's silence.

  • Will be remembering my Dad, and my sister in laws dad who both died within minutes of one another on 11/11/07.

We were expecting SIL's dad to go but not mine. When SIL was telling my youngest nephew (lost both his grandads) she told him that Grandad didn't want to go to heaven on his own so Grampsy went with him! Fortunately at nine he was mature enough to appreciate what had happened. The year before when his great uncle died he asked his mum 'Is he being buried or burnt?' :)
