Shopping in Newtownards

Tesco Extra opened on 3rd October at the new Castlebawn Retail Park and just heard that Matalan opens next door to it on Thursday 17th November. Poundworld and Home Bargains also open there before Christmas.

Don't forget to visit the Ards Shopping Centre - a host of top name stores including Asda, Argos, Next, River Island, Blue Inc, Poundland, Iceland, Primark, Eason, JJB Sports, Thorntons, Boots, Superdrug and the list goes on....its all under the one roof and the new entrance is now open where the old Tesco store was.

Shopping in Newtownards has just got even better. Town centre shops now offering discounts in the run up to Christmas - book of discount coupons available in most town centre stores and in the Tourist Information Centre in Regent Street. Lots of family owned businesses in town - Wardens, Alan Espeys, SD Kells, Menarys etc.

Personally,I think the new Tesco's will kill off the Ards Shopping center,was in the new store Saturday & it was bunged,a far cry form the old Tecos's in Ards.
